So, if you are ready to be your own boss and make extra income, then keep reading because this may be the beginning to a brighter, more independent future by opening a shop on Etsy – it was for me and it can be for you too!
This is a step by step guide on opening a shop on Etsy. I will guide you through the steps necessary to open your shop. If you’re still not sure if opening an Etsy shop is right for you, please click here to read my post, “Is an Etsy shop right for you?“
Here’s what you will need to open your shop:
- a computer or mobile device with internet service
- a product, service or supply to sell
- a name for your shop
- a bank account (so you can get paid – Woohoo!)
If you read “Is an Etsy shop right for you?” on our blog, you know that you can open your shop with as little as $.20 (yes, that’s 20 CENTS). Each listing will cost $.20 and there are no other fees until you sell something. How great is that? That was one of the reasons we opened our shop on Etsy – it was affordable so there is very little risk.
