Here is a cool item we picked up a little while ago that I think is very interesting indeed. It is a delightful suede leather purse in a lovely shade of red made by Dunhill. Most likely made in the 1950s or early 60s. That in of itself would be pretty cool, but what takes it over the top was what we found inside. A small flask that perfectly fits inside with a cap that matches the purse. A perfect hiding place for a quick snort of your favorite liquor wrapped up in a designer label.
I have not been able to find anything like it during my research on this little gem. It is hard to tell if these two items started out life together like this. It could have started out as a large purse or even as a cigar case, but this is too clever to part these items. They make a perfect pair.
